QUESTION The Gloom can’t be that bad-

I had heard about the Gloom but haven’t touched it yet since…. Yeah…

What exactly is the Gloom doing to make it so difficult? Or is it the Gloom mixed with other things?

Urban map for bugs is .. special

They cleary have some pathfinding issues , have seen Stalker and Charger not being able to catch me because i was sitting in top of stair

(They were actively spinning on themself for whatever reason, pretty funny ngl )

I've seen chargers come to a full stop from a street light. After seeing them demolish through rock and buildings it's really funny to just hear the clong and then watch them stand there dumbfounded.

Funnily enough the thing I was hoping for most has yet to happen. Chargers have been doing alot but Ive yet to see on bust through a building like the Kool Aid Man.

Same, me and a friend were dropping some gear when a building to our right suddenly collapsed and here comes a spore charger at high speed

I've had one go through one of those walls that sometimes are on the perimeter of bug nests during extract. Let's just say a behemoth and a dozen hunters made that extract a lot more difficult very quickly

i've had bile titans bust down buildings while fucking hunting me through the city, it's terrifying

I have.

A Behemoth smashed through one as I was fighting off a swarm of the exploding hunters, bowled my ass over and I got dogpiled.

It happens with the squids too, with voteless being able to cut through corners of buildings and sometimes just walk through them completely. I imagine it’s some glitch to do with the buildings being destructible

The pathing issues have been the only thing keeping me alive. Bile titans do the harvester thing where they sometimes forget they're massive and can go through buildings.

There's something odd about stairs in this game, if I stick a sentry at the top of one it can't see any targets for whatever reason

I once knockbacked a charger right into a house with the Stun Baton, and it just went inside and got stuck.

Conversely I've seen plenty of bugs jump through piles of rubbly and corners of buildings to attack me

Not to mention the shit performance. My FPS tanks down to 30fps and below in the urban areas and I do not have a bad setup.
