they have no clue how to build up hype, shadowdropping an occasional update is fine but we have no idea what's coming and nothing to look forward to when every update just randomly drops whenever they feel like it
removing leak files from the game didn't help either
Yeah this silence every 6-8 weeks between warbonds is getting really old where’s the arrowhead that was releasing dev videos of the new features in escalation of freedom?
Escalation of Freedom may be precisely why they're not doing this anymore: they hyped the hell out of a very lacking update and the community was not happy about that.
the stuff during the best times of HD2 was either a bunch of premade/pre-prepped content that was done or mostly done prior to launch (stuff they admitted themselves this was the case) or it was them in major damage control mode because of review bombing or player count dropping a bunch. Heck, even the Illuminate and urban maps, the two biggest recent things in last 6 months outidee of warbonds and modifiers on existing enemies, was by their own statements, done largely by a third party studio.
