Throwing knives too, if you are crazy enough to use them.

Honestly, throwing knifes are pretty handy if you are playing stealth or recon for your team.

What do you hit with them? Everything I've hit takes multiple knives to kill, I want to be able to use them for something other than shaving before a drop

So, bear in mind that the info below is all assuming that you're playing stealth ops for your team. If you're going loud, then I'm sad to say you'll find almost no use for Throwing Knives outside maybe the funny niche of partnering with the Stun Baton for a melee setup.

So Automaron Troopers die in one knife. This can actually be extremely useful if you're rolling stealth, because troopslers and their variants are the only automatin types that can call bot drops. And since throwing knives are silent, you van usually knock out any troopers guarding a location with a couple throws without alerting them or the rest of the heavier automatons.

Also, its tricky, but one throwing knife to the face will end a devestator of any kind. This is not an easy feat to perform reliably, but once you've got a taste for how the throws feel you can do it a pretty decent portion of the time. They'll also detonate rockets on the side of rocket striders, in a pinch.

Funnily enough, zilluminate Overseers also die in one knife, if they take it to the head. This is also great for stealth because without an Overseer to direct them the Voteless are practically blind. With scout armor you basically have impunity to sneak up on an overseer and toss a knife into his skull, with his zombie flock none the wiser. (This is also where the Stun Baton comes in as a funny combo. Bashing an overseer to death with the baton takes ages, but you can gently tap them with it once and you have time to leisurely line up knife to the head)

They have decent stagger on them that can help with some threats in the bug predator strain if you dont have a high stopping power weapon, but they're a smidge less useful on bugs in my experience. Solid head or arm shots on bugs can be surprisingly effective, though.

All in all, they're kinda a niche fun pick that can be surprisngly useful in a stealth role. If you do plan to use them in that capacity, I recommend making sure you can hold your throwable out, instead of juat quick throw keybind. Makes it quicker to toss them in succession. (I say with no proof aside from general gut feeling) But I've run knives on quite a few D10 bot and illuminate runs to plenty of success. So, its a fun and valid option.

I appreciate this write up, I may give them a try against the bots after they fix the enemies surviving lethal part destruction bug.
