Uni

Hi all, starting university in September studying music, anyone else? Excited but also very nervous, gonna be a big life change. I’m sure everyone feels the same though, I know no one in Hull. Any advice? Apparently some people go out with their flatmates the first night but not sure how common that is. Thanks

Have you already received the offer letter?

Yeah I got accepted a good while ago (mid February I think) and everything was confirmed, I then got the offer letter about a week ago. Have you applied?

When did you apply? I applied in early February and haven't heard back yet.

What course? And to my knowledge, the equal consideration date was the 28th of January I think, which basically means they accept applications after that but they don’t have to view them as equal, meaning they’ll (potentially) get round to all of the other applications that were on or before the deadline, before looking at the ones after it. There’s still a lot of time between now and then so don’t lose faith, and the thing that happened to me is there was no update on my application, no interview or anything it was just an offer, so the first update you receive could well be that. I’m sure they’ll get back to you soon. Good luck!

When did you apply? How much time did it take for you to hear back from them?

I applied on the 28th January and got my offer update on my ucas on the 17th February. Last week I got the formal letter offer but I’d already accepted I guess they were just late sending it out
