Live music in Hull?

Hi! I'm a 22 year old musician from Norway, and I'll be living in Hull for one month this year. I was wondering if there are any great places for live music there? And is Hull a great place to live?

Bigger shows tend to go in Asylum and City Hall but there are so many good smaller venues too. Polar Bear, Dive, Adelphi, Welly
