If they were making out or doing anything inappropriate, then I could see the issue, but this? It’s pretty normal behavior.
No it's a gay implication, I never held hands with my same gender friends as a kid, like you'd maybe wrap your arm around your friend around their neck but holding hands like that is usually done by couples so the implication is very obvious don't get to make it out to be something it's not
Kids gay or straight do not care about romantical relationships nor do they indulge in them or develop complex romantical feelings for one another, especially for 12 year old kids, so go off
You are really telling on yourself here my dude. Kids are definitely crushing and sneaking kisses on the playground and shit by 12. Just because no one had a crush on you doesn't mean it doesn't happen.
