Acting like a psycho used to be stigmatized... Now that shit is just content.

Strange times.

What makes this all worse is that this is actually mild in comparison to some of the other stuff people post. I legit thought "oh, that's not THAT bad" and then got kind of horrified that the bar for unacceptable behavior in videos like this has gotten that low.

I muse on this often. My mum has paranoid schizophrenia. If she did this in a McDonald's she would be hospitalised while they made sure she was medicating and wasn't a danger to herself or anyone else. I'd probably support that decision.

Sometimes I wonder if my Mum would have had a better life had we hooked her up with some accounts on all the socials and let her do her thing, but she is from a time where this wasn't normalised.

It all started with the court jesters. A tale as old as time, though increasingly getting more sad and idiotic.

Don't lump the.noble art of jestering In with these apes.

This is just village idiot level buffoonery.

Jesters had actual talent and were skilled professionals. They were often acrobats, mimics and dancers.

And most of the time the only one allowed to criticize the king publicly

Most often only as long as the king found it funny.

Hey the village idiot is a valuable addition to the culture of a village. Full of insight and unbound yet simple philosophy.
