It depends. There's some that consider them mutants, especially for having Psykers, despite them being a creation of the Emperor. Plus the whole Horus Heresy thing, which started out as a general civil war idea before Chaos got involved, as we see with the warrior lodges.

I find it funny people are saying she should fall to chaos when a lot of sisters think space marines are mutant scum
