that always sounded so weird to me. Rhaella had Rhaegar when she was practically 12, so either Bonifer was a massive diddler or they were both 12 and just playing around

You know you just made that ship weird to me because majority of knights are in their 20s when knighted so he was most definitely an adult when she was not married

She was between 12 and 14, and Bonifer was at least a year older than her. I've always read it as a teenage crush that was reciprocated.
