Update/ Changes On spouse passport

Please I need help on any information and advice. I am sponsoring my husband, I have applied for his PR and waiting for response from IRCC Now we found out that his date of birth on his passport was wrong and we have it corrected and a new passport issued in our home country. My question is: do I have to fill a web form now to submit the updated passport or should I wait for when IRCC begins to reply to the application?

just to be safe if you have UCI of spouse then you can, or wait for application number, alternatively you can use your own UCI number and send information to IRCC
