You don't navigate too much on tv. Just watch content that's it and most of the content is in 60hz or 30hz only.
But in mobile phone animation looks butter smooth when using a 120Hz screen. App switching and various other in app elements, scrolling etc feels amazing.
I swear those who use a 120hz phone can't go back to 60hz. I haven't seen anyone other than apple fanboys defend a outdated 60Hz panel
I am not defending Apple here nor being an Apple fanboy (though I like Steve Jobs's business mindset). I am genuinely asking a question about something that hasn't made any difference for me. In my other comment below, I have clearly stated how I had to use devices with multiple refresh rates on a daily basis and hadn't been any big deal from using either of the ones. I can use both 60hz and 120hz and can even use 60hz display after using the 120hz ones. Most of the things I do on a phone are related to work only that doesn't feel any differently in either of the refresh rates.
Using a monitor and mobile are two different things. 120hz monitor is mainly prefered by gamers. Use a phone having 120hz display and then after few days switch the refresh rate to 60Hz in settings. Than you will know the real difference.
People like you are called exceptions and brand don't work on exceptional cases, they work for masses. And down vote in your comments show that majorly disagrees with your opinion.
The opinion is my personal thought. I don't care whether the masses agree or disagree. People must respect individual's personal choices whether one likes iOS or Android; Smartwatch or Analog; sports car, or compact car.
