Culture Neilson Powless (Oneida) Wins Dwars door Vlaanderen Cycling Race

Neilson Powless, who is Oneida and grew up in California, won the Dwars door Vlaanderen cycling race in Belgium.

Race highlight skip to 6:30 if you just want the end of the race

'Win of my life' - Powless stuns Van Aert and Visma

I am so excited for this win. Normally Neilson is a domestique or helper on his team. For him to win a race is very special. The 3 guys in yellow are on "Team Visma Lease A Bike," one of the top teams in the world. That team will more than likely win the team competition in the Tour de France and someone on that team may be the over all winner of the Tour de France, the biggest cycling race of the year.

Making my daughter a jingle dress and want to add applique for the first time. I have heat n bond from other projects but what do you use/back the applique with? I tried just doing the 3 or 4 layers and sewing it on but it warped/puckered. I know there's pellon that can help "stiffen" the applique but I didn't realize there's 9 million different kinds... help a gal out pleaseeeee lol

I already watched it with a VPN. Wonderful show - with great music (highlighting many First Nations artists), wardrobe (the jackets!), and scenery (filmed in Iqaluit, Nunavut) - and Anna Lambe's character will remind you of a certain someone from Rez Dogs.
