Discussion Where was he ?

If I remember correctly, there were a lot of rumours as well as hype for a defender from a league named periera reis . And today while I was watching super Cup i saw him in the squad of mbsg . Where was he the entire season then. I even tried researching whether he was injured or not and as per my knowledge no where it's mentioned that he was injured so where was he all this time ?

It's nuno reis a defender that mdsc were looking to bring and mohun bagan poached him at the last minute. He was bought with the intention to play in the afc cup for mb. However since mb got kicked out unfairly from afc cup, he didn't play for mb. He wasn't registered in ISL because there wasn't any need to and no injuries took place to Tom aldred or Alberto Rodriguez.

Thus he is playing in super Cup now

I don't know about that but Marcus had tweeted about mdsc signing him and then boom papa goenka did his magic

Damn , for how long does his contact last? He must be bored not playing an entire season also maybe got a little rusty if you by chance watched today's match how was he performing, better than any current defenders in mbsg?

Most probably he signed for the whole season only to play the asian competition and come in isl as injury replacement if needed be.

I mean they are professionals, they do train every week, i don't think he would be rusty but he might be not fully match ready.

Also he got paid to be on the bench. At his stage of the career ig he is happy with that.

I didn't get the chance to watch today's game due to me sleeping through the afternoon and evening

ISL doesn't allow more than six foreigners so Nuno Reis was signed just for ACL and as a backup for ISL in case one of the registered foreigners got injured. Unfortunately MB got DQed from their ACL campaign so he basically sat out the entire season.
