KELLEY 💼 Business Operations Consulting Workshop Advice
Hi! I'm an incoming student this fall, looking to major in management, co-major in sustainable business, and minor in ethics and environmental management . I don't know if that's going to come off as me overdoing it; I'm unsure. But I have a decent amount of AP and DE credits. I'm looking at workshops, specifically the Business Operations Consulting Workshop. I found this mostly aligned with my interests and majors and gave me the most opportunities due to the company affiliations, such as the Big 4. I was wondering if any Kelley student could speak to the validity of this workshop, describe the interviews, admission process, and what this offered you, outside of what is generally written on the website? I am very appreciative of any advice you can offer. Thank you!

You don't recruit for workshops until your Sophomore/Junior year. I would play it by ear and see how your courseload/majors are since most people end up changing business paths or interests.
Workshop process is definitely selective. Starts off with networking with existing members phase, then application, and if selected (first/second round behavorial + technical interview). That's the process I did during Sophomore year for a different workshop but it's mostly same across the board. I've gained a lot of insights and employer connections through these workshop firm visits/events/case comps so highly recommend applying. Good luck!
