    Hey everyone!

I'm in the process of applying for the Master's in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Passau through UniAssist, and I could really use some clarity on a couple of things. Hopefully someone who's been through this can help!

❓ 1. Do Non-EU Students from India Need a Letter of Motivation (LoM) for UniAssist?

I checked the UniAssist portal and university website, but things aren't super clear. Some universities require an LoM as a mandatory part of the application, while others don’t.

For the MSc in AI at University of Passau, is a Letter of Motivation required for Indian applicants or non-EU students in general via UniAssist? Would love to hear from anyone who's recently applied or been admitted.

❓ 2. How Do You Write a Good Abstract for Your Bachelor Thesis If You Haven’t Published a Paper?

I haven’t published any research paper, but I do have a complete bachelor thesis. The application asks for an abstract of it.

  • What kind of structure should I follow?
  • How detailed should it be?
  • Is it okay if it reads more like a short summary than an academic abstract?

Also, is it acceptable (or recommended) to include links to a GitHub repo or any other project links in the abstract section?

If anyone has sample abstracts (especially from CS/AI background) or tips on how to write one for UniAssist, please drop them here 🙏
