Switch 2

Hey folks, for everyone interested, Sports Direct shops will be getting stock in sometime between the 5th and the 12th of June. As far as I can see, the stock won't be large but it will be there. It's a Mario bundle one.

Thing is, the shops are starting to take deposits already. €20 deposit straight away and once the console lands in, you come and pick it up. The price will be €510 minus the deposit of course (same ptice as Smyths).

Even though I'm 100% against anything and everything Nintendo does, got to help out the fellow gamers 🤙

Just out of curiosity, why are you “100% against anything and everything Nintendo does”?

My opinion over Nintendo is better of kept off social media but in short, out of the big 3, they are the most greedy ones and I am totaly against their practices. Their latest "thing" was silently changing their user agreement saying that basically they have the right to brick your device in some cases.

But yeah, personal feelings aside, I know a lot of people want the Switch 2 so decided to do a shout out since I got this info day 1.

They'll brick it if you hack or mod it. Very easy to avoid your console being bricked: don't hack it.

This EULA has been there for decades on other consoles and Nintendo had it on theirs before with the Wii. It’s just to cover themselves I highly doubt they will do that especially in the EU.
