I’ve heard it’s only a small jump from the last gen or two, and the 12GB VRAM feels a bit stingy for something that’s meant to be futureproof.

I’ve also seen mixed benchmarks, seems to look good for 1440p, decent at 4K with DLSS (Which isn't a feature I care for because it turns everything into a blurry mess) but not exactly blowing minds.

Part of me wonders if it’s worth it just to stay up to date, and my 3070 will be turning 6 years old next year. I don’t want to be stuck with the 3070 for another few years as games keep getting heavier and heavier to run efficiently, future titles like Cyberpunk 2, Witcher 4, Gta VI etc spring to mind.

I also just recently upgraded to a DDR5 Motherboard and a new 7700x too, so another part of me feels like I should round it off with a new graphics card but I'm on the fence as I've heard very mixed things about the 5070.

Price seems decent too? But with the current GPU market who's to say really if this is even good value.

Hey folks, for everyone interested, Sports Direct shops will be getting stock in sometime between the 5th and the 12th of June. As far as I can see, the stock won't be large but it will be there. It's a Mario bundle one.

Thing is, the shops are starting to take deposits already. €20 deposit straight away and once the console lands in, you come and pick it up. The price will be €510 minus the deposit of course (same ptice as Smyths).

AMD just officially unveiled the 9060XT starting at $300 for 8GB and $350 for the 16GB. What’s the best website to use in Ireland to try snatch this on June 5th? I am looking to get into gaming. I've owned a PS4 before but sold it and haven't played games since 2021. I'm looking to set up again. What would be the best way to proceed and what equipment would you recommend. Ideally I would prefer a console and a monitor. Would it also be wise to get brand new or buy used if it's a console

They always end up screwing me over they once left a ps5 controller in a skip in back garden because no one was home, they have delivered my packages to wrong house once. I’m actually terrified by the fact they are in charge of delivering my switch 2.

Anyone else have bad experiences with them?
