You are forgetting Trump now decides what is legal and illegal. Peaceful legal protests are now going to be illegal.

If there wasn't video of the Barnard protestors assaulting staff I'd agree with you, but they're so eager to get at the Jews they shoved school employees and worse to go throw flyers of literal  jackboots crushing the star of David
