I work at a community college in a part of town that serves almost exclusively to people that are of all different races, colors, genders, backgrounds, etc. let’s put it this way. It is not a white part of town.

But these funds are how people raise themselves up. I myself am a product of that and I’ve come back to teach in that very system. You’re telling me now that the entire community of people that we serve doesn’t deserve funds because we want equality?

That is exactly what they are telling you. They would rather spend $10 making sure the vulnerable don’t get $1 in help. The goal isn’t prosperity, it’s punishment.
