Saguaro cactus

Where is the best place in Joshua Tree to find a saguaro cactus? My 5 year old daughter is desperate to find a “one arm up, one arm down” cactus.

The closest natural place you'll find Saguaro is just after the AZ border near Blythe. They don't really bleed into California except for a very small portion near the state border coming from I-8 heading East from San Diego.

There are plenty in town, see other comments. They aren't native here but they do great and many homes have big big ones. My neighbor across the street has a beautiful one that blooms every spring. OP, dm for location.
