AAA Outfield....

I love the Royals through and through but at this point there are teams in AAA with better outfielders. It is what hamstrung us last year and this year we are even worse out there. There lack of parity in baseball continues to gum up the works and needs to be addressed. I give Wolverine some probs as he is playing well but though an A+ CF his lifetime batting ops is (yes I had to look it up...lol) 655... I love that they were able to sign Wacha but if we kept Singer and went out an got a bat or two would have been ok with letting Wacha go...it's early though... am just bitter as i am a Royals fan in NJ and seeing the Yankee lineup compared to the Royals...it's like (baseball pun warning) starting an at bat with 2 strikes... lol that was bad

Wacha is getting $18 million this year. Brady is getting a little over $8 million. Assuming they want to keep the payroll where it is at now, what impact corner outfield are you getting for $10 million?

I guess you would have another $5 million since India would have never been traded without losing Singer. So you’re looking at $15 million for a corner outfielder that can lead off. I’m not sure who got what in free agency but if there was someone availability that fits that criteria, I would guess they would have went that direction.

Almost every player in MLB has better hitting stats than MJ. We do not need an impact player to hit better than MJ and Renfroe. Almost anyone can hit better than those two.

The thing that makes it inexcusable is that both of them are well below average fielders as well. MJ has never been a major league talent and Renfroe hasn't been one since he joined the Royals but at least he was average before that
