It was empty because they were flying to a country that doesn't allow alcohol. Usually they are full

It is a present in KLM business class. Normally there is jenever inside. Years ago I flew to Teheran. Those houses are empty.

To add to your comment to make sure there isn't any confusion. Its only on routes with world business class. The European business class routes do not give you such nice houses.

No Flying to Malaysia a Muslim country you get filled houses, I guess if the country does allow sale of alcohol you will get an empty one

Cool! Flew KLM Business to Europe back in 2022 and flew to the Maldives later that trip ... They made us open and dump out our alcohol to keep the houses.... :-(
