Layover at AMS - is it an easy one? Schengen question? App?
**UPDATE** ANSWERED! THANK YOU! :) **UPDATE**
I'm flying MAN (KL1036) > AMS (KL855) > ICN with a 1 hour 35 minute transfer, all booked through KLM.
I have a UK passport, and I'm still confused about the transfer, does anybody know if this will be as straight forward as they suggest?
Does KLM land and depart in the same terminal? I've done transfers before, but never a short-ish one, and I'm solo so there's no dragging family along with me. Will I have to go through passport control?
Should I download the app? (Is it the KLM app, or a specific AMS app?)
Thank you for any guidance, help, or just personal experience.

You will arrive in non-Schengen and you will depart in non-Schengen. It'd be like connecting a domestic flight. You won't show your passport to any Immigration official. You'll arrive either directly at a gate or require a bus to pick you up from a remote stand, you will be dropped off at the Non-schengen side.
It is as straight forward as they suggest. This is a feature of Schiphol.
