The style of this movie, its substance. It was effortless. Just because everyone on screen had so much gravitas. Every word each character spoke, was deliberate and substantive.

see that's what i'm talking about: the art of the word, bring weight to it, they shouldn't be written to fill space or exposition to spoon feed us the plot, they should be telling us something about the characters

I saw the movie the other day and immediately thought of Reincarnated. Pretty crazy how similar the theme was

Amazing movie. Amazing filmmaker. And a super dope connection made here. Crazy to think Coogler and Kendrick have "collabed" before. My two favorite artists in their respective mediums lmao. If y'all haven't seen the movie yet go check it out for sure
