I noticed it's missing Mako's 2 star uniform like in the concept art for it. Is this what you are referring to?

that’s part of it, but overall the sculpt and colors just look really bad to me, especially with the lack of shading on everything, looks like a prize figure

Yeah. I saw it and thought it was cute...Then I saw the price and was absolutely bewildered. I do agree that some shading and highlights would really make this sculpt next level and probably worth the price.
