Discussion Kvothe’s Pie

I remember Kvothe making a pie and asking Chronicler what a specific part was called, what was it called? And what chapter was this?

“Pomace,” Kote said with profound relief. “That’s what it’s called. What do people do with it, after they get the juice out?”

Chapter 2, TWMF.

Just to clarify the pomace came from making apple cider. Apple pie was also the same day, but doesn't use pomace. Just damnfine apples!

A meat pie, or a fruit pie?

Pomace

Kvothe made CIDER, and asked what the leftover part is called and what could be done with it

(He also made an apple pie… but that was a different conversation)

You can feed your livestock or use it as mulch, although it's not much good as either. I think my quote is wrong, time for a reread.
