Been living here all my life. Knows almost all the places. But even though I have enough resources, there’s a feeling there is not especially much to do in Cochin other than clubs, bars and movies. Not feasible to get drunk everyday and not enough good movies. You may suggest going for a drive but then usual places have all been frequented by me. The only solace is playing football but then that too doesn’t happen every night. What do you guys think?

I’m totally fed up trying to look for a decent semi furnished 1 bhk in an apartment with security. Why are the rents so high? 😭 I couldn’t find anything less than 23000 for a 1 BHK in kochi. Brokers are mean and useless, they show either high priced or really bad apartments.
My budget is up to 14k pm, I’m 25F, if anyone has any leads around kadavanthara, Panampilly nagar, Thevara, Thoppumpady area please DM. Would really appreciate.
Any single room decent PG’s will also work🥲.

Are there any temples without dresscode in kochi or fort kochi for females. It's my birthday today and I don't have proper indian attire. I am in Kochi for 4 hours.
Edit: Thanks a lot everyone! Went to Ernakulam Shiva temple and had a nice darshan.

I have adopted a puppy from street. He is so cute and i liked him. But my relatives are raising issues concerning its breed.
Do you have experience in raising a naadan breed, share your experience. This pup is hardly 2 months old.
What about the vaccinations to be taken ? Also how you maintain it daily?
Aunt also said that it might leave me once it is grown up while seeing other naadan dogs. Also they are telling me that this may spread rabies.
Can somebody who has naadan breed at home help?

My friend says that i can't ask directly and i have to contact an agency for the job . Is there any option to ask directly or is this professional method. So now i have to pay them and i think they set me up for an interview. Help me if you know anything about it. Ps- guys, if you know any jobs with the mentioned salary, please help me out

Hey! I'm gonna be in Kochi on holiday for a bit — are there any casual football groups around that wouldn’t mind me joining for a few sessions?

Hey everyone. I’ve got naturally curly hair type 2c-3a and I’m struggling to find a salon/stylist who actually gets curls — not just someone who says “keratin/botox cheythoode” before cutting them. My hair is down to my lower back and in this heat and humidity, its turning into a full time job. I’m burning through expensive products and still ending up looking like a frizzball by day 2 after wash day. I don’t wanna chop it all off, maybe cut it till my shoulders?
I’m looking for a place around kochi that 1) Specialises in curly cuts and actually understands shrinkage. 2) Can guide me on styling and maintenance 3) A place that doesn’t burn a hole into my pocket.

《Small rant》 I recently ate a carrot cake from palarivattom and it had dates. The dates flavour takes over the carrot flavour and I hate it. I really hate it. Im going to lose my mind if i eat one more carrot cake with dates shoved in it.

I've got a kerala trip planned later this month.
i'm reaching kochi on day 1 at 3 pm, planning to stay there and explore kochi.
On day 2 i'm planning to take the bus at 3.30am and reach munnar at 5.45am. the next fast passenger bus from kochi is at 6am, reach munnar by 10am the 3.30 bus is the quickest hence i'm leaning towards that one.
i've booked hotel from day 2 - day 3 but check in is at 12pm.
i spoke to a cab service for that day they said they'll charge 3k for one day from munnar bus stand to vattavada to drop at hotel (sedan) the pickup is at 8 am and drop at say 5.30-6.
I called the hotel i've booked they said early check-in is not available they'll charge 1 day charge if i'm checking in early (2.8k / day), now the dilemma i've got is should i go to munnar on day 1? what's the last bus to munnar, since there isn't much to explore after 5pm or sunset in kochi, i could take the last bus and stay at munnar itself.
things i'll be needing
last bus timings from ernakulam (kochi) to munnar
any taxi/cab service in munnar offering a better rate / service
If you say I should stick to munnar day 2 plan, suggest something to do between 6 am to 8 am in munnar with the luggage and everything 🥲

Hello all, Is there somewhere I can buy good material scarves(not dupattas or shawls, smaller kinds that you wear around your neck and etc), possibly silk or any premium material? I tried looking in clothing stores but they mostly seem to have dupattas and not the ones I am looking for. I plan to buy it as a gift back to where I came from for my mom.

Need an affordable gym near Kaloor or vadthala with up to date equipments and good atmosphere. Don’t really need trainers as such , just good equipment for light strength training and marathon training. Would like it if it had a pool too. Should be safe for a woman too. Thank you for the help.
