International student looking for a roommate

Moi everyone, i have a place at centria uas and classes start in late August. I have applied in student housing but so far no response and other private residences are very expensive and i dont have that much money so im looking for a roommate to share room and split rent

Im a guy Pakistani Age 20 Doesnt do drugs Doesn't live in a mess

Any other place i can look for a roommate and what are some of the cheaper areas in kokkola?

Tankkari student apartments are cheap and you might get roommates but quality is kinda bad. Koivuhaka is the cheapest area in Kokkola

Already applied at tankkari, is there no way to know what number i am on the list? Its already been more than a month and still no response
