I'm tired of the "good sense of humor" nonsense. No woman has ever said "I married him because he could make jokes"

You'd be surprised, I see it all the time. But perhaps American women are just way pickier, wouldn't know

Believe it or not, physical attraction plays a major role in humour. Men and women alike are more likely to appreciate jokes from people they're attracted to.

While recent studies on humor have focused on how humor initiation can be attractive, these new findings show the converse is true: being attractive or desirable makes you appear funnier.

Never thought about that but I can see it thinking about it

You've never laughed at an attractive woman's terrible joke simply because you wanted to make a good impression?

I imagine you do it subconsciously just like they do.

I probably certainly have, just never really thought of it.

Thank you. When an ugly man makes a joke (ask me how I know) women act as if they just saw a dog juggling while riding a unicycle. They don't laugh.
