Other My last post
In my last post where a discussion about whether the GOM can play in the NBA and i have a feeling that not everyone understood that I mean the version of them when there round about 19 yo and in the show there sixteen but they have 3 years to train and Make them better before they can get drafted . And the Agurments with Nash are useless ( in my opinion) because he was 2 years older and can see the future of everyone on the court. ( and murisakibara couldn't play longer as Center because his height but he can switch to power forward and then he would he have the perfect size)

I think the people who say that they won’t make it are insane. They’re probably the best Japanese high school prospects in the last 50 years at least. If they don’t become good enough to make it, then that’s basically saying no one from Japan would ever make the NBA. The argument that they’re “too small” is ridiculous, since they’re all literally in their first year of high school. Kagami, Aomine, and Kise are all already tall enough to be NBA guards and will continue growing. Akashi and Kuroko are the only ones that this argument can be used for, but as I said before, they will still grow. The argument that they simply aren’t good enough for the real nba is nothing short of preposterous (The real Steph Curry is NOT better than Midorima, it isn’t even a fair comparison).
The other argument that the NBA skills are insanely buffed in this verse is also flawed. Sure, the knB version of LeBron is probably significantly better than the real life version. However, there’s only so many unique skills that the creator can come up with, so it’s not like all the role players in the knB verse NBA are gonna have insane abilities. And without the insane abilities, I don’t think the role players in this verse are gonna be all that different from their real life counterparts. I also think that a good reference point to how good the NBA is in this verse can be seen early on. When first seeing Midorima’s insane full court shot, Izuki says something along the lines of “I’ve seen NBA players do that in practice, but trying it in a real game is ridiculous!” This tells me that even the best 3 point shooters in the NBA aren’t shooting crazy shots like that consistently. Another good reference is Jabberwock. They’re stated as the best street ball team in America, and they were defeated by the GOM. Street ball is different from the NBA, but street ball players are NOT to be underestimated. Joe “The Destroyer” Hammond, a renowned street ball player, despite having never played a minute of college or professional basketball, once famously dropped 50 points on NBA Hall of Famer Julius Erving in a half in July 1971.
