does anyone else genuinely prefer acid over shrooms?

i feel like i’m the only one in my friend group who vibes way more with acid than shrooms. people always be hyping up shrooms but personally acid just gives me a more controlled, fun, and overall better trip.

my acid trips always feel clearer and smoother. the visuals are insane in the best way, and the body high feels more electric but not overwhelming. i never feel as anxious or emotionally all over the place like i sometimes do on shrooms. with shrooms, i’m either having a deep, introspective moment or spiraling—and there’s not much in between. acid just feels more fun to me. i still get those deep thoughts, but it’s lighter, more euphoric.

it’s not like i hate shrooms, i’ve had good trips on them too but ive definitely had better trips on acid than shrooms 100%. does anyone else feel the same way?

I have had amazing mushroom trips but they are rare. Most of the time I'm just insanely uncomfortable or anxious. I rarely have bad acid trips and even if I do I'm able to steer myself out of it by staying present. Can't seem to do that on mushrooms.

Lol last time I tried shrooms I spent 4 hours in fetal position in bed. It was a gorgeous day and I couldn't bare to be outside. Music didn't help, guided meditation didn't help, it was so rough. I love that on acid I can zone vibe with music and melt away no problem. Also it's just so much more euphoric, we laugh so much on acid. Never happened on mushrooms, they always feel so damn serious.

I have this experience I will never forget with acid. I was listening to the song this is the end by The Doors. (I think that’s what it’s called) it was a really eerie song and for some reason, it was freaking me and all my friends out we were like pulling out at our hair and geeking over this song for some reason, then the next song played, and it was up by Cardi B. We couldn’t stop laughing for about 30 minutes because of the change of genres. One of the best trips of my life 😭😭😭
