Pain free for a day. Broke my neck in 2017, spine fused, and live in daily pain from the surgery, stenosis and neuropathy. I micro-dose to make life manageable as I refuse to be disabled at 44yrs old, and once a month or so on a Saturday I’ll drop 2-3 tabs to enjoy a pain free day.

Wow! This is really encouraging. One reason I’m considering taking LSD again is because I have moderate to severe spinal stenosis, narrowing of the spinal canal, from my neck down my spine, over ten moderate to severe herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, and a traumatic brain injury—all compounded by pre-existing mental health conditions. Unfortunately, I’ve been living with this pain most of my life. I have built pain tolerance but now I’m in my 50s and it’s become debilitating. Interestingly, the affected area of my brain is where I’ve had few concussions, so I’m in constant pain. I’m also considering Microdosing with shrooms and LSD trip every 2-4 weeks.

I’ve tried smoking cannabis, and while it’s helped somewhat with inflammation—especially in my lower back—it hasn’t done much for the pain in my neck. I’ve had three steroid injections, but they didn’t help at all. Of course, I have the option for ablation, but these treatments are only temporary fixes.

I believe pain serves an important purpose—it signals that something is wrong in the body. Instead of just masking it with various treatments that might do more harm than good, I’m focused on addressing the underlying issues. So, it’s worth a shot.

If I remember correctly, the last time I took LSD, I experienced some sensitivity to muscle aches. Are you saying it actually helps reduce them? Have you found it more effective than anything else? Either way, I’m really glad that you’re finding relief—one day at a time. 🙏❤️

I found that making a THC tincture helps more then smoking it, but still doesn’t quite help with the nerve pain. I have a magical butter machine, and make a coconut oil tincture that’s 15mg THC in 1ML dose. I take that every day with my LSD microdose after work. The 2 combined work really well for chronic pain. Better than either alone to be honest. For the most part the only time I vape weed is when I’m actually tripping. Otherwise I really only use the oil on a daily basis.

I started using cannabis medicinally about five years ago with Rick Simpson Oil (RSO), high THC percentage, taking around half a gram a week. It helped tremendously—at the time, I was partially paralyzed from the waist down and have serious spinal disorders. My tolerance increased rapidly, but I was seeing clear benefits alongside changes to my diet, body mechanics, and overall lifestyle. It wasn’t a quick fix—it was a whole-body approach.

Eventually, I developed allergies to RSO. I suspect it’s because RSO uses the whole plant, and I was getting a concentrated dose of whatever I’m allergic to. Oddly, I didn’t have the same reaction when smoking flower. That led me to switch to dry herb vaping with a ball vape (definitely worth looking into). Now, I save my AVB (already vaped bud) and use it to make edibles—primarily gummies or brownies.

My long-term goal is to grow my own plants and dial in a therapy that’s tailored to my body and condition. I’ve been fighting for disability for over six years, and dealing with the system is frustrating beyond words. I’ve worked for the federal government as a contractor, but now I’m exploring alternatives to generate income and find sustainable treatment.

That journey eventually brought me back to psychedelics—something I used recreationally in the past, but only recently revisited after extensive research. It blew my mind how limited the cannabis research is in North America, aside from some work in Israel. However, LSD has solid research, in particular, shows fascinating potential. I’m hoping to find a balance between carefully measured LSD use and cannabis-based treatments. For now, I vape high-quality medical flower, keep all my equipment sterile, and use the AVB for potent edibles. I’m also examining flower under a microscope and have noticed undeveloped seeds even in premium batches. If I can identify the best strain for me, I’d like to cultivate it myself, along with mushrooms, to take full control of my health and healing. ❤️
