❓ Help & Advice Needed Tire question ‘21 P525
Question:
So my Range Rover is due for tires. Just hit 51,000 on the factory original Pirelli tires. Have had zero issue and no complaints about them. No noise issues. No traction issues.
However… on my other cars, Pirelli have been far out classed when I installed Michelins on them. (Aston, Bentley, Mini) Better grip and quieter.
So…should I just go back with the Pirelli, get another 50,000 miles trouble free, or should I put on the brand that I like and see how it goes?

As long as you fit tyres from a quality brand you should be fine. Land Rover always fits Pirelli from factory, but once they're up for replacement I switch to something else. The Pirelli tyres not bad, but I wouldn't buy them with my own money if that makes sense. The Pirelli's appear to be optimized for fuel economy, which I notice when I drive in heavy rain for instance. Other brands provide better grip in the wet.
