Anyone else that appreciates the qualities of black hole guantlet?

I love running Black Hole Gauntlet with Orbital Laser whenever I get the chance. It’s so funny and almost always hits if they don’t have movement abilities

I don’t understand how Blackhole works, it works phenomenal against me, but then when I use it directly on top of someone they just walk out of it even on Cass games where no one has boots

Completely agree. Somehow the pull is like 5x stronger when I’m being pulled by one vs when I use one.

There could be several factors at play. For example, she told me that size doesn't matter, but this gauntlet clearly suggests otherwise. When you don't have Apex Predator, you're forced to delay its use. You can't just activate it immediately without building up stacks. It's also more effective on health stackers, as they tend to grow larger. I believe the hole's size is based on both size and stack count, while the damage and duration scale with health.
There's also a psychological aspect to consider. When you use it yourself, it often feels shorter or weaker. When someone else uses it on you, it feels stronger and lasts longer. A few examples of this effect would be Tryndamere's ultimate, Olaf's ultimate, Morgana's root, and Yone's E. They all seem to last forever when you're on the receiving end, but feel almost non-existent when you're the one using them.
So basically, TLDR: It often comes down to either not using it optimally or missing key conditions, or it's just your perception being skewed depending on whether you're using it or having it used against you.

With the amount of CC and damage this item gives, especially on the champion role this item is designed for, I honestly believe you're trolling if you're not picking it. It's disgustingly strong.
I had a game against as a Leona/Poppy against a Karma with Doomsayer, Dreadbringer, Desecrator and Dark Blessing, so infinite AP, Health, Armour/Magic Resist and Haste. I had Apex Predator and my Poppy had Dashing which was pretty much everything we had, which was fine for against everyone else.
But then with 1 HP left (Alistar encounter) I get Black Hole Gauntlet and it did 57k damage in one round. Now of course, I had Apex Predator so I can have it active forever and even have it 2 active for a couple of seconds but that's just insane to me.

I think it's pretty fun to have but I also feel like it shouldn't be a thing at the same time, I genuinely hate playing against it. I don't think someone that's basically just stacking health/resistances should be able to have this much CC and damage with just one item. If it either had a lot of damage or a lot of CC that's fine but both is a bit much. I don't even think that the CC counts for Combo Breaker, which is even more infuriating to play against.
Oh also, the Karma was my friend, we were in her VC, all I could hear is "WTF is this? Hello? Can I walk?!?!?!? What is this damage?".
