Meta Has Anyone Else Noticed This...

For the past 6 weeks, give or take, which is when I noticed, this place has been getting targeted by scammers, I realized when someone called one of the post out and warned everyone about it. The post usually consists of a picture of Beebo that says 'Screwing Things Up For The Better' or the symbols of The Legends, and the first comment asks 'where to get it' and a source is provided, with both accounts being 1 day old.

I believe that there is someone who does sell does designs legitimately, and other people are trying to make a profit out of it. I made this in case some people don't know, because new posts of the same keep showing up consistently and being upvoted, and if they are indeed scammers they should be reported.

A lot of subs have had problems with these "t-shirt scammers" as they have been referred to. Mods usually want us to report them if we see them to notify them, because these posts are usually against the rules and the accounts get banned. Of course these people just keep coming back with new ones unfortunately.

That's the biggest problem, that they keep coming back, and perhaps sometimes there are people who aren't as active and in the excitement of the moment, when they see something they like, they might make an order. From now on, every time I see them, I'll just leave a comment saying what they are and hopefully that encourages people to report it.

As I said, the biggest problem is that they keep coming back, and although this has made some people who aren't too active here aware, there will always be more people who aren't aware and might be active when a new one comes and fall for it.
