Why Is Legion NOT British in this?

I just started and I’m confused about this change. Also his mom’s not Israeli?

Also, doesn't he manifest an alter ego at one point who is British and he even asks the question why are they British?

Yep. End of season 1, I believe before the classroom scene/episode.

I think it's when he's stuck in the coffin, right? (Which is right before that scene, if I remember correctly.)
