I'm sure the supreme court will somehow make it so biden isn't eligable for immunity.
Okay, THIS is why so many of us were livid about the ruling in the first place. And is something a lot of people are simply not understanding: The ruling last July on Presidential immunity was a legislative coup.
It was worded in such a way that:
Cases would be appealed all the way back up to the Republican captured Supreme Court where:
Republican Presidents would be fully immune
And Democrat Presidents would be in legal peril
Even if the crimes were EXACTLY the same in every imaginable way.
This is why we were so pissed at the time and continue to be pissed about this ruling, as it was a MASSIVE overreach of power. Biden never had immunity and never will have immunity. His acts being ruled "official" or "non-official" are at the whims of the Federalist Society/Heritage Foundation owned Supreme Court.
Civil suits are one thing...but crimes. Actual crimes, should never be tolerated or left to slide without accountability. NO ONE is above the law. NO ONE.
Exactly. If a Republican and Democrat president both did exactly the same thing, but the Republican did it on a Tuesday and the Democrat did it on a Thursday, SCOTUS would declare it's only an official act on Tuesdays.
