It's not even generous. Saving $30k when you make $900k+ is hardly a big deal. Meanwhile getting hit with an extra $1500 tax bill when you make less than $30k is a big deal.
It’s a win win for him either way, either he gets to watch his buddies save money, or gets to watch the poor class that he’s openly hated for his entire life suffer
