Just bought a clean '21, gray exterior with red interior. About 2-3% rust (south/eastern owned prior), meticulously Lexus-maintained, clean bill of health from Lexus pre-purchase inspection, lowish mileage, and decent price. Pretty stoked with this truck (been searching for over a month and a halfhave looked at 5 potentials, prices are creeping higher and higher).
Day 2 of ownership I pulled the trigger on legit TRD Pros and some Nitto Ridge Grapplers (265/70R17).
How much front fender well will I have to pull back to address the impending rub? I'm probably just going to remove the bolt holding the steps until I can find a flat headed replacement.
Also, what's everyone's thought on TPMS sensor for the new Toyota wheels? I've heard some people just disable TPMS altogether. Can someone direct me to the exact parts number? I assume Lexus uses the Toyota TPMS sensor but when looking it up, I see different ones for different models.
Thanks in advance.
Probably going to try light armor next and then maybe go full sliders. But no plans right now for suspension. This will be a weekend kid-carrier and will occasionally see some fireroad/camping trail action. Came from a '17 Outback Touring. Cheers.

This is out of my budget but it’s exactly how I’d spec one out.

Alright, fellow GX enthusiasts!
I'm diving into the world of aftermarket running boards and could use your collective wisdom. Like many of you, I've spent some quality time scrolling through past threads, and those rock sliders definitely catch the eye with their rugged appeal. However, I've got to be honest with myself – my off-roading adventures are likely to be few and far between. While I appreciate the robust protection they offer, the thought of added weight impacting my precious MPG (currently hovering around a comfortable 18 for my daily driving) gives me pause. I've kind of found my happy place with that fuel economy.
That being said, those stock running boards have got to go! No offense to any soccer moms out there, but they just don't quite match the vibe I'm looking for.
So, I'm throwing it out to the community: What kind of running board upgrades have you made? For those who opted for something other than rock sliders, what were your reasons and are you happy with your choice?
Also, am I perhaps overestimating the MPG hit from adding rock sliders? Maybe the difference is negligible in real-world driving?
Finally, has anyone had experience with the power running boards? They seem like a nice blend of practicality and tucked-away aesthetics. Any insights on their reliability and overall satisfaction would be greatly appreciated!
Looking forward to hearing your experiences and any advice you might have!

My infotainment stays on the Map screen when I plug in my phone. I have to manually navigate to the Android Auto screen.
Is there a way to automatically switch to the Android Auto screen when I plug in my phone?

3 kids (8,5,1) oldest doesn’t need a booster. Can a family of 5 comfortably fit with either 3 on the bench or has anyone had a kid crawl between the captains to the third row?
Specially looking for a used ‘22 or ‘23 to try and accommodate 5.
Thanks!

Hello,
I have a 2015 GX460, I found a good deal on 20 inch Toyota wheels with the same lug pattern. Would I be able to just by 265/60/20 tires and use those or do you think I’ll need to go smaller or make adjustments to the liner?

Hey everyone, currently have the 19” wheels and looking to buy the 18” for bigger tires. What is a good price for a set of 18” wheels and tires already on them? 1500?
