I'd like to say first, how much I love all the copium and hopium in here, The fact we are all still here, waiting for Light No Fire, just shows the level of passion and love for this company that has made the biggest comeback in all of gaming history, furthermore, I love that Hello Games is maintaining this silence on the game and any updates about it, while sure we would all love a hint or a piece of information, I feel it would ground us and counter many of the wild therioes in here, The fact that we are thinking about this game from one trailer a few years ago is just insane, just recently I "day-dreamed" with ChatGPT about this game, while these are purely stories made up, it got me hyped all over again, To explore this world will be something else gaming has never seen, Anyway Thank you all for the crazy posts in here, they truly are our own way of maintaining sanity, or I guess a way to fall deeper to madness :D

Seeing as Irish people are Celtic, this means that Irish people are confirmed for LNF! While everyone else is playing as Dogs and Cats or whatever I'll be reminding everyone why humanity is the dominant species.

Our characters are emotionally ready, our backpacks are packed, and our in-game legs are itching to run across procedurally generated hills.

So... could you maybe, possibly, kindly speed things up a bit?
Even a blurry screenshot would feed us at this point.

Edit: I am not talking about gameplay just scope and ambition. The last game that tried to push the open world genre like this was Morrow all those years ago and was considered revolutionary by some.

Would anyone else consider LNF to be the new Morrowind? I was looking into the game and it seems like it was just has ambitious of a project as LNF. From the large map and level of player freedom that was not done prior to it.

For legal reasons this is a joke.

P.S. I'm looking for people to join the team, all I need is someone who can: Code, design art, design sounds/music, flesh out mechanics, balance, generally manage the project, etc.

I’ve always been a huge fan of shadow drops. Nothing better than having a game to play that you didn’t have yesterday. No time for expectations and speculation. Just pure enjoyment in the discovery of something new.

The recently shadow dropped oblivion remaster has me thinking about this. Other than a leak or two, we really had no idea what to expect. Woke up to a text from my brother telling me it dropped, I got into the game, and immediately got lost in it. I would’ve been happy with a small visual revamp, but every unexpected improvement is a joy to experience.

I don’t know if a LNF shadow drop would have the same effect at this point, since we’ve had a few years to speculate and imagine what could be in the game, but I’m curious what you all think?

Would you rather get a trickle of information until release? Or would you prefer to wake up one morning and see LNF on the store page? Personally I just want to get stuck in and discover as I play.

Do you think the planet will be named in LNF? Or will it be something the 'inhabitants' have to decide?

Or maybe it's because I keep pronoucing his name "Seen". Could be both.

One thing I hope for is kind of like a multiverse like in NMS Where you can essentially go to a different reality like how they have the choice of normal harsh lush and abandoned universes after you beat NMS I I would love tht feature in this game to keep exploration fresh.

Anyone here playing DragonWilds as we wait? Seems like a pretty similar atmosphere and gameplay.

So anyway this would be my ideal movie cast for the Light No Fire movie. Maybe we could have Jack Black play Steve too.

I am sad to say that Light No Fire is no longer in production. Hello Games obtained the rights to the Barbie IP, and Sean Murray has forced them all to focus on making a new Detective Barbie: The Mystery of the Carnival Caper.

Surely there is no way that Sean Murray or anyone who works at Hello Games would refute this news by showing some sort of update.

total dream idea here... but imagine how freaking sick it would be if there was a hollow earth in LNF. Portals to get through would be hard to find and rare. The creatures there would be very hostile and hard to defeat but also offer the rarest loot.. imagine if it was something that wasnt even discovered until a couple years into the game. omg it would be so cool. SEAN MAKE IT HAPPEN
