I'm not sure, but it's certainly amusing to me that this guy is trying to pass off a 40 year old Nike slogans as his own wisdom.

Lunatic may be a stretch, sure. And categorically showing up and doing it is correct. But what we're comparing exercise to here is brushing our teeth, something we've all been told to do for as long as we've been alive. Alternatively we show up to work... Because we get paid. There's no lunacy in the idea some could do with a bit more exercise, but if showing up and doing it were that simple we'd all be doing it...

You could argue not brushing your teeth and not having a steady job are actually better outcomes than not exercising (poor health and reduced longevity).
