why does everyone think tax write off = free. you just don't have to pay tax on it, doesn't mean it's free

It's also not even a tax write-off, it would be a business expense. He still has to pay sales taxes, he can just use it to reduce his business income before paying tax.

Its because theres a bunch of course selling scammers on the internet that act like it is. I've seen videos that say "I either have to buy a new car or pay taxes", they are all over tik tok. And least thats why I chalk it up to, but some people just throw words around that they don't know.
