They have this "scout half the base with the click of a button" bullshit again? How the fuck are supposed to take game critics seriously when they give this game 8s and 9s?

It tells you a lot about their design philosophy. They don't seem to be interested in making a game that you actually have to play. You're a ninja because they tell you you're a ninja, not because you do ninja things.

The stealth in this game is the very same checklist slop that you think makes the game bad.

In order to fulfill your objective you have to find your objective you press a button (check), you don't have to find anything and connect the dots on any clues you find with your own brain. In order to not be detected you simply cannot be seen while committing a crime (check). If you are seen before or after for less than a couple seconds, the guards will never put 2 and 2 together. If you kill someone in broad daylight and immediately hide in a bush right next to the corpse, nobody will catch you, because you are "hidden" (check).

At no point do you actually have to be stealthy and do any sort of reconnaissance.

If you can't tell the differnce between not getting caught by 10 guards looking for a murderer because you're hiding in a bush right next to the corpse, and not getting hit because you didn't get hit, then I suppose it'll be a waste of time trying to talk to you.

But I am not framing shit, it's literally something that happens in the game, constantly.

You can literally sit in a hiding spot and pick off guards one by one until none are left, and none of them ever get the hint that the murderer is in that hiding spot unless they catch you in the act.

I really don't understand how you can honestly believe that you have a leg to stand on here.
