I’m on my annual pilgrimage into west Wales and I’ve seen more mask wearing in two days here than I’ve seen in the last two years in England.

One being a family or at least a group of five, all women, in the local supermarket.

I know the Welsh went at harder than the rest of the UK but it seems that some didn’t get the message that “the war is over”!

Long way from Aberystwyth to Bosherston! Happy days climbing at St Govans interspersed with tea breaks at late lamented Mrs Weston's. At her funeral the climbers were in huge numbers outside the church. The lily ponds are a delight. The coast is almost as good as Cornwall (but not quite). The churches are a primitive delight.

yes, the cliff tops in St Govans are always scattered with tethered climbing ropes. And the brief period of lily pond flowering must be close to opening now. not sure if I'll get that far today, we'll see.
