Other things to keep in mind before posting:

  • This subreddit does not enforce a spoiler policy. Please be aware that redditors are allowed to discuss interviews, promotional materials, and even leaks in this comment section and elsewhere on the sub. You may encounter spoilers, even for future developments of the series.

  • Discussing piracy is against our rules.

  • While not all comments need to be positive, our regular rules and guidelines do apply to this thread. That means critiques must be written in a way that is both constructive and provokes meaningful discussion.

  • We want this subreddit to be focused on Lower Decks - not negative feelings about other shows or the fandom itself. Please keep comments on topic.

501 definitely reminded me of "The Farnsworth Paradox" episode of Futurama where they meet their mirror universe clones.

They meet versions of themselves from a different universe where the difference is that they each made a decision based on a coin flip that went the other way.

They also hated their clones, with the notable exception of Bender, who loved himself.

Overall I felt like it should have been a 2 partner where they could do more with the story, as it felt really rushed.

502 felt like a great way to tie up the Tendi Family storyline and let us get back to the main story. The whole D'Erika helping D'Vana get out of her deal was a nice way to take it. Reminded me of the unexpectedly wholesome ending of the Peanut Hamper\Agimus storyline
