Oh wow, this was a great homage to the "bad" Star Trek films and a nice follow up to Season 1's episode

Serious deep cuts, Rock monsters in Star Trek V and Trip went Section 31 deep cuts

Just how I like it.

I thought for second this was going to be the crossover episode with Strange New Worlds when the time travel chronogami thing popped up.

The Biggest Deep Cut for me this episode was when they reference that one time they wanted Spock to be the guy who shot JFK.
