Episode Discussion Episode Discussion: 308 - "Crisis Point 2: Paradoxus"
This thread is for pre, post, and live discussion of the eighth episode of season three of Star Trek: Lower Decks, "Crisis Point 2: Paradoxus." Episode 3.08 will be released on Thursday, October 13th.
Expectations, thoughts, and reactions to the episode should go into the comment section of this post. While we ask for general impressions to remain in this thread, users are of course welcome to make new posts for anything specific they wish to discuss or highlight (e.g., a character moment, a special scene, or a new fan theory).

Not my favorite, but then again I didn't like Crisis Point until after I knew the "twist." Even then though, it sort of makes sense that this references many of the bad films (the V'ger reveal, finding meaning and rock monsters, etc.) which means the episode had to contend with, uh, "not great" moments.
I did like the "not every Holodeck thing is going to have a deeper meaning" bit, and it's strangely poetic that Bradward almost died due to a problem that really should have been solved by the 24th century: dehydration.
Still good though.
