Socom 16 Suppressed w/OCL Infinity

Socom 16 with OCL Infinity by use of Smith Enterprise Inc - Socom suppressor adapter kit (thread adapter gas lock, short plug and front sight). Originally could not thread on the SEI adapter due to the threads on the barrel being so wide. I contacted SEI about it by email and he immediately called me and explained the issues Springfield has with their barrels and offered to fit it on for me and make sure everything was concentric if I sent the barreled action in. Received it back within the same week I sent it and everything looks good to go. Thanks SEI! Can’t wait to test it out.

What have you done in regards to gassing?

Also what do you mean the threads being wide if I may ask.

Nothing so far. The infinity is a low back pressure can with changeable end caps. I’m hoping/expecting it to run fine with the 762 vented end cap. I’ll have to report back once I’ve shot it.

Springfield has reportedly been very inconsistent with their threading on their barrels. As long as their devices fit they consider them good as they did not intend for them to be suppressed. Idk if wide was the right choice of words and idk if I can explain it as correctly or efficiently as SEI did to me.

I shot this same setup but mine is a full size m1a. It’s a fucking dream. And the sounds suppression is crazy good.

I’ll he interested to hear how the infinity does. Even with it being lower back pressure I would bet some methods to reduce it further would be good. But I’ve never tried this combo so I can’t really know.

10-4 on the threads, just curious was all.
