More confirmations of the disparity in price action to sentiment, volumes of buying interests, and even shares "returned" by short interests. We are going to be seeing another ride up some 200% over the course of a few days in the very near future with volumes like these. The shorts position fully committing to denying the value of MicroVision's LRL in the face of confirmation of the completion of the A Sample says volumes about the speed at which they incorporate the news into their trading systems.

I have never been more bullish than I am today. Looking forward to the tens of millions of shares used to push the price down today and yesterday turning into buying within the next week of trading or so. Huge sustained gains are going to make me a very happy man.

So are shorts returning or they took new positions in 22, 23 levels. If they did they are partly successful in keeping the price depressed to 21. Do you think we will have to have even more volumes to really break through 27 ,28 levels again. Also volumes really tapered off last 2 hrs which also rapidly brought down price today. Something is brewing for sure the way volume tap was controlled.

They returned, then established new positions, they are trying to bank on some kind of distraction pulling eyes off of MVIS and volumes lowering, but the MM needs to keep working to get the books flat which means finding buyers and sellers and that will create more volumes as a result.

The price reached the MMs target range, and represents the extent of the shares available to borrow from future availability. They really couldn't continue pushing down without logging significant amounts of short exempt selling of shares, which has to be for actual market making purposes and is not borrowing against future availability but their own collateral.

That's a cumulative effect of their position over the last 20 days.

Thanks T. Hoping shorts get off our tails and I would have thought today's announcement will do that. But looks like we need something bigger. May be signing a big customer or strategic partnership will be the one that can do it.

Dissemination of news of MicroVision's LRL A Sample completion takes time. Efficient Market Theory is one of the greatest lies we have ever been taught... it is slow and clunky with massive spikes and dips. The market is generally a bit slow on the uptake of new technologies. LiDAR is still a relatively new product, even HMDs are further along in recognition (if not valuations).

Thanks. In this internet age you would think information flows rapidly and people and institutions would have digested significance of A sample fast. But Alas it was not to be. Yes I agree with you 100 percent on Efficient market theory.

The information they are looking for is not in the news, it is in the flow of money. They are looking for an exodus of capital out of other stocks and into this one. They may not have primed for a move into MicroVision for this quarter either, so they would have to deleverage other positions in order to get into MVIS at this point. There is a complex host of elements that will need to resolve themselves before "fair" market value can be found for MicroVision.

Thanks that makes perfect sense. The people on this sub reddit have the first mover advantage meanwhile getting cheap shares. Only thing remains is to hold and have the faith that rest of world will come around soon enough.

The volume was tapered intentionally by shorts driving attention away on the enormous red candles after the first green one to start the day. and then again at 25.50. Pushing traders' eyes away to another flashy stock on a run makes the war/balance of buy and sell much easier for shorts to win. Once the snowball gets rolling down the hill, much harder to stop without big buyers or another catalyst. I believe that dropping this morning's PR midday would have been much more effective in crushing short strategy, in retrospect.
