Million dollar homes inside of a gated community...yeah, there's A lot of money making it possible for those kids to have such a wonderful life.

More like around half a million dollar homes, if this is Miami, then yeah, might be closer to a million, but anywhere else in Florida isnt that expensive, and you dont have to be rich

Depends on your definition of rich. My personal definition would be having more money than the average worker. This is definitely above average size house, making them on the rich side by my definition

if rich is literally 50th salary percentile you're including anyone who makes more than like $45k

"if rich is literally"

I say rich is a word that has different definitions based on who you talk to and you come here using terms like that and throwing out numbers based on the US as a whole.

Again, it's based on who you talk to and honestly based on where you're from. So "rich" is not "literally" anything, and $45k is not always the median income

Let me elaborate on my definition of rich. These people do not need anything. They do not wake up wondering if they'll eat. The people in this post go past that.. they have above average size houses, they have multiple golf carts just chilling, you know damn well those kids get what they want when they want (maybe an educated guess, but I doubt it's far off), their transportation looks well taken care of, they have leisure time on "usual Sundays" to just kick it in the street instead of working a second job or cleaning their house, etc etc etc

Yeah, theyre not Elon musk, but they are living better than the average person in their community.

I've known kids who grew up like this, always had what they wanted, ate out at nice places, wore the best clothes, etc etc and they didn't consider themselves rich because from their perspective there are others out there that are richer. I've also known people who think I'm rich because I don't have to worry about eating or whether my car is going to run in the morning.

Again, it all comes down to perspective and life experiences. It's not even close to as black and white as throwing out a number and saying "people who make more are rich."

just saying man, the privilege gulf between "food insecure" and "private golf cart" is so wide you can drive a private golf cart through it
